Hockey Olimpija vs VSV

On Sunday I went to see the game of hockey. It's been 4 years since the last time I've seen live hockey. I used to watch more often when I was young and my dad used to take me to the games. The main reason for seeing this game was that my friend was singing the national anthem at he beginning. I've used my Nikkor lenses 70-200 and Nikkor 35, which I must say surprised me again by its sharpness.  Mostly I used + 1,3 EV, f 2.8 and ISO 800, so I could maintain shutter speed of 1/500 of a second or higher.

 

 Oh I almost forgot the result was win for home team Olimpija. So Olimpija vs VSV 4:1.

 Nikon hosted a yearly event by inviting hobby amateur an or professional photographers to take part in this sort of PR/marketing event. Event was actually a climax of Nikon's , I must say new way of PR event with slogan I am (in Slovene Jaz sem). They hosted a photography competition, where you had to post your picture and add words to beginning of a slogan I am. Competition was a success, it was really viral, because more than 27 000 entrants compete for the main prize Nikon D 5000. For other places there were compact cameras and for first 50 attendants prizes were different kind of merchandise. So as I've mentioned 27000 was more than expected so they changed top 50 (who would be marked by jury) to 500! That was really viral, because Nikon took. The voting took place also over Facebook by clicking "I like". This slogan reappeared  during this event with I am golden eye or in Slovene Jaz sem zlato oko. So i took advantage of free entry got in crowd, tested equipment, so i can decide on further purchases and only shame was that I've missed the lectures of photographers. The red line was James Bond theme, with DJ playing Bond tunes. And beautiful girls and lots of spies with no so spy photo cameras. Too big for serious spying ;).

Tested Nikon 10,5 f 2.8 fiseye lens, took a picture of a nikon 105 macro.

She wis realy used to flash, good thing that she is not an epileptic.
